We have moved!!!
We had to leave out old place due to it being sold and developers building 80 houses on it. Yep 80 houses on 37 acres.
But we are off to a new stage in our life, home ownership. Yes we finally found a house where we could both be happy. Room for horses and a big house (that needs work) for hubby. It fits us to a T.

This is a picture of the horse corral and barn. Yes there are no horses in it yet. I broke my ankle in finishing it so will have to put it on a back burner until I get back on my feet. Until then horse and goat are still boarded out and are on vacation. I hope they are enjoying it more than I am.

Well I am back on my feet and its been a year since I broke my ankle. Shadow is at home now and although I wasn't able to really get out and ride too much this past summer I will be making up for it now. It takes a LONG time to get over a broken leg I have found. 10 weeks in a cast and then it was several weeks learning to walk again. It still bothers me too. Sigh. It didn't help much that I had a doozy of a summer cold too that lasted for weeks, until I went to the Dr and got on antibiotics.

I have started a weight loss this year and so far have dropped 18 lbs. I have 112 to go to get down to my goal. (as or 2-2-07 Then I will be finding a gaited horse to ride and Shadow will be retired. She is 21 this spring so is getting up there so I guess its time to look for a replacement.  Although you would never know it to ride her, she is still as full of go as she ever was. But I am ready for a lot less bounce per ounce. LOL
